Layout Ultimate: The Official Glove Partner of Team Canada

Our team at Layout is excited to announce that Layout Ultimate Gloves have been named the ‘Official Glove of Ultimate Canada’.  This partnership has us gleaming with pride as we partner with the best Athletes this beautiful country has to offer.

Layout Ultimate will be decking the Team Canada World Games squad with custom Layout Gloves to show off their Canada pride while providing a constant, even grip in any playing conditions.

With the squad being led by Head Coach Scott Hastie (GOAT. Toronto Rush) and Assistant Coach Tasia Balding (Vancouer Riptide coach, former Traffic Ultimate player), the 14 spots have been set and the team has been training for the World Games Wroclaw 2017 (Poland) on July 20th-30th.

The roster is studded with Canadian stars including Collefas Mot (Vortex, TC  Juniors), Rena Kawabata (Traffic), Terri Whitehead (Traffic, 2015 UC Female Athlete of the Year),  Mark Lloyd (GOAT, Rush), Anatoly Vasilyev (GOAT, Riptide), Darren Wu (Riptide) and Gagan Chatha (Furious George, Riptide), along with a handful of other highly talented and dedicated players.

Each team Canada player has been provided a pair of custom designed and sublimated Layout Ultimate Gloves

Held every 4 years, the World Games (WG) is one of the most elite Ultimate competitions. Only 6 countries qualify to participate in the World Games based on their WFDF ranking from the past world championships. Each country that qualifies to play may only send one mixed gender team with a roster of 13 players.

The 2017 World Games will be held in Wroclaw, Poland, July 20-30. Canada qualified 3rd among 6 countries (Australia, Canada, Colombia, Japan, Poland, and the USA). (https://canadianultimate.com/en_ca/world-games).
