What is Spot-Sublimation?

Dye sublimation printing allows for printing on fabric in full colours and details. Your art is printed onto a sheet of high-release paper and transferred directly onto the Layout Gloves using heat and pressure. The dye particles convert to gas (the process of sublimation) and bind to the fabric fibers. The end result is a lasting image on the gloves with any colour possibilities and detail available. The image is embedded into the fabric leaving a soft-to-the-hand feel. Logo size is 2.75” x 2.75”

How soon can we get our custom gloves?

Great news! We’ve partnered with a local Ultimate company that will be handling the sublimation and have white gloves ready to be sublimated and shipped. This means turnaround time for spot –sublimation is only 1-2 weeks!

Sublimation creates a far better product to screen-printing for a few reasons. The feel and quality of sublimation is far superior to screen-printing as the graphic is embedded in the fabric with sublimation where screen printing is an additional (non-breathable) layer of material on top of the current fabric.

Why Sublimation vs Screen printing?

Screen-printing can be limited in colours whereas with sublimation, you have full control over the colours and design.Sublimation also allows a lot more detail to be used in the image vs screen printing due you can use much higher quality images with more details.

Full sublimation is available for orders above 50 units (best for leagues, pro teams etc). See a few examples below. Turnaround time for full sublimation is up to six weeks. Full sublimation covers the entire back of the glove whereas spot sublimation is a 2.75” x 2.75” which is better for smaller team orders.
