Canada is off to Poland to Compete in the 2017 World Games!
Team Canada Mixed is in Poland to compete in The World Games in Wroclaw on July 20th-30th. The World Games consist of 27 official sports and 4 invitational sports (Ultimate is an Official Sport).
This will be Canada's 4th time appearing The World Games (which take place every 4 years). Past placements include:

The Canadian squad is being led by Head Coach Scott Hastie (GOAT. Toronto Rush) and Assistant Coach Tasia Balding (Vancouer Riptide coach, former Traffic Ultimate player), the 14 spots have been set and the team has been training for the World Games Wroclaw 2017 (Poland) on July 20th-30th.
The roster is studded with Canadian stars including Collefas Mot (Vortex, TC Juniors), Rena Kawabata (Traffic), Terri Whitehead (Traffic, 2015 UC Female Athlete of the Year), Mark Lloyd (GOAT, Rush), Anatoly Vasilyev (GOAT, Riptide), Darren Wu (Riptide) and Gagan Chatha (Furious George, Riptide), along with a handful of other highly talented and dedicated players.
Held every 4 years, the World Games (WG) is one of the most elite Ultimate competitions. Only 6 countries qualify to participate in the World Games based on their WFDF ranking from the past world championships.
All TC Players have been outfitted in custom sublimated Layout Gloves
